Repair Stucco

Duratex Stucco™ is an incredibly versatile, ready-to-use resin-based stucco. This highly flexible coating is easy to apply and sticks like glue to stucco, cement, block, brick, metal, wood, OSB, and siding. Unlike other stucco repair products, Duratex Stucco cleans up with water, needs no priming before painting, and has the look and feel of traditional stucco.
Large cracks, spider-web cracking, erosion, peeling paint, efflorescence, water leakage, and visible repairs—these are all common stucco maintenance problems. Ugly stucco cracks disappear with Elastek Duratex Stucco™.

Use a clear primer/sealer for uncoated stucco, concrete, tile, brick, or chalky surfaces.
For elastomeric sealant on cement-like materials, wood, metal, and most other surfaces, Elastek Crack & Joint Sealant is a very strong, high elongation sealant with excellent adhesion. It is ideal for caulking, patch and repair and for small hairline cracks too small for Duratex Stucco.
All cracks should be cleaned of any loose material. A chisel or a grinder is ideal to open up narrow, deep cracks to make them easier to fill. Fill voids with Duratex Stucco and blend.
When dry, use a brush to dab and blend more Duratex Stucco to hide the repair. A green sponge float also may be used to blend Duratex Stucco into surrounding stucco.

TIPS: Practice applying texturing on scrap materials such as cardboard. Nearly any texture is possible with a little practice. Working in the shade allows for longer working time. Keep tools wet and clean. When finished, clean tools promptly in water.
Approximate coverage is 18-to-25 sq. ft. per gallon. Allow two to three hours to film, overnight to harden. Temperatures and humidity affect drying time.
