121 High-Tek Basecoat

Elastek #121 High-Tek Basecoat™ is a specially formulated first coat for use over asphalt and metal roof surfaces. Based on a special 100% acrylic polymer, this product forms a very durable membrane that provides outstanding adhesion to most surfaces.

About High-Tek Basecoat

• Specially formulated first coat for use over asphalt; metal roof surfaces; flat, composition roofs; modified bitumen; previously coated foam roofs; aged galvanized steel and aged aluminum coated roofs; aluminum and clay surfaces.
• Offers excellent coverage and is helpful in sealing solvents in asphalt roofs to assure maximum roof coating performance.
• Ideal saturant for polyester roofing fabric when used to refurbish an existing roof or create a new roof membrane. It saturates fabric completely, dries quickly and has excellent adhesion to various substrates. Fabric membranes made with High-Tek Basecoat will have particularly good ponding water resistance.
