114 The Shield™

Elastek #114 The Sheild™ is based on an elastomeric polymer and is formulated to provide reflective roof protection under harsh Southwest weather conditions. The SHIELD is Elastek’s economy quality elastomeric roof coating and is ENERGY STAR certified.

About The Shield

  • May be used on composition roofs; white-coated roofs; aged galvanized steel; aged asphalt composition and aluminum-coated roofs; and aluminum and clay surfaces. Works best on roofs that have good drainage.
  • Forms a durable continuous membrane which reflects most of the sun’s heat, saving building energy costs. Provides good resistance to UV degradation and extends the useful life of asphalt-based roofing materials.
  • Easy to apply with brush, spray, or roller. See our How To Apply Roof Coatings bulletin. Coverage 100 sq. ft./gallon. Two coats recommended for maximum protection. Environmentally safe.
  • Elastek recommends not tinting this product to assure longevity.
