Reflective Elastomeric Roof Coating
Elastek #114 The SHIELD™ is based on an elastomeric polymer and is formulated to provide roof protection under harsh Southwest weather conditions. The SHIELD is Elastek’s economy quality elastomeric roof coating.

About The Shield

  • May be used on composition roofs; white-coated roofs; aged galvanized steel; aged asphalt composition and aluminum-coated roofs; and aluminum and clay surfaces. Works best on roofs that have good drainage.
  • Forms a durable continuous membrane which reflects most of the sun’s heat, saving building energy costs. Provides good resistance to UV degradation and extends the useful life of asphalt-based roofing materials.
  • Easy to apply with brush, spray, or roller. See our How To Apply Roof Coatings bulletin. Coverage 100 sq. ft./gallon. Two coats recommended for maximum protection. Environmentally safe.
  • Elastek recommends not tinting this product to assure longevity.
