Dramatically Reduce Cooling Costs and Extend Roof Life
1. Surface Prep
- Remove rust and corrosion with wire brush or wire wheel
- Wash with TSP substitute and water; rinse or power wash, let dry
2. Prime
- Where required use ERSystems® Acrylic Metal Rust Primer
- Roof system must be clean and dry with surface temperature below 120°F at time of application
- All underlying materials must be fully cured
- Tighten all fasteners, seal all fasteners and seams with ERSystems® H.E.R. sealant
3. Repair & Seal
- Replace missing fasteners
- Tighten all fasteners, seal all fasteners and seams with ERSystems® H.E.R. urethane sealant
4. Finish Coat
- Apply two coats of appropriate Elastek® topcoat
- Apply with 3/4″ or 1-1/4″ nap roller or airless spray
- Approximately 475 square feet per 5 gallon size pail per coat (approximately 100 square feet per gallon per coat). Apply two coats
